Day Two: She Collects Seashells on the Seashore…

0500am ZOOM call!

Yikes, I should have done better with the +13 Greenwich Mean Time calculations! 😄

Started the day with a nice breakfast at The Boat Shed. The place IS fabulous. They serve amazing food and the atmosphere of the boutique hotel is second to none. Rob, the proprietor (always wanted to use that word), and his Dad, David, seem to be here 24/7. Cooking, cleaning, driving, check-ins, etc… feels a little like the butler, Emilio, from MR DEEDS!….BOOM, there they are!

We took a nice walk to the beach, then set out on the coastal trail around Waiheke! My BRIDE loves to collect shells from beaches we visit, Little Oneroa Beach did not disappoint. She collected a new batch!

The whole walk is 13 miles…NOPE, we did 3. Meandered back into town, had a nice lunch and a glass of white wine at Aperitvo’s wine bar! An additional short walk back to the hotel, and its NAP time. Short nap, start reading “Miracle Morning”, shower, 5-star four course dinner, and it was time to focus on Day 3…YEP, asleep in 1.75 mins, now that is a good day!
